Songs of the Children

 
Songs of the Children is a song cycle for solo soprano.  The texts were taken from the book, I Will Sing Life, by Larry Berger and Dahlia Lithwick, and features the poetry of children stricken with cancer.  The poetry was written at the Hole in the Wall Gang summer camp as part of a literary initiative to help children with cancer deal with the issues surrounding their disease.  This amazing poetry comes to life with music that reflects their innocence, veracity, and faith.
